Christchurch is the most English city in the world outside of the United Kingdom, it has a rich anglican history and home to just under 1300 parks, gardens, reserves and green spaces allowing the city to be known as "The Garden City". The city's population is just under 500,000 which includes a large population in the green belt / hinterland of the city. 

The 2010 and 2011 earthquakes devastated the city and many surrounding centres across the South Island. As heartbreaking as these series of events were it has given Christchurch a golden opportunity to rebuild a new city, a new atmosphere and a safe, strong and modern city centre.

Our Mid Canterbury Spin and Soak Tour takes you away from the city into beautiful countryside to the Rakaia Gorge for an enthralling jet boat ride with incredible scenery and towering limestone cliffs.
